It will replace the current standard, OHSAS 18001. ISO 45001 is currently in development, and the final standard is expected to be published in late 2017. Once published clients with OHSAS 18001 will have to migrate to ISO 45001. ISO 45001 is the new ISO standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S).
